I scaled the indoors via Ferratta In orchard central 20.10.10

On 20.10.10, I went with a group of leadership proffessional trainer to do some research on the place for the school girls. I walked from the school to the Bedok Reservior park. It was quite a journey to walk.

I scaled the world’s tallest indoor via ferrata, and the experience was nothing short of awesome *grin*

I was alittle scared at first, it was so high to me. I never scaled so high up. Deep down my heart was beating so fast before going up. I did because I wanted to challence myself. I did not know whether I was able to do it. I think it was the mindset that can make you succeed.

Taking up five storeys within the new Orchard Central mall starting from The Exchange @ Level 4, the Via Ferrata entails a fixed-protection climbing path made out of a system of cables along the wall.

At some points, I had some problem climbing up, my legs are too short and I was wearing jean that made the climb more difficult at times. But still I did not want to give up, my hands and arms were really tired and hurt. My legs shivered but I told myself "I must keep going till I reach my goals."

True enough I managed to complete the climb. Now I can say, I did you so you can do it too.

Auntie Ivy is such an angel to me. Not many people can be like my boss. She has a big heart and has help alots of less fortunates.I wish that there are many more like her who will do a part for making the world a better place to stay.

I met Raymond and Tommy when they came for their early lunch in Bollywood Veggies Farm.
They were so friendly and kind. They cycled there. It was really my pleasure to meet them. They bought my book on that day. I sure hope they would enjoy reading my story. I hope they will come again one day.

Scaling Walls-My story

I am really happy being able to share my story to people.I really hope to create more awareness for the less-fortunates so that more people will understand the inner beings of us. I may look different but I think the same like many of you.
I think it is very important to have a loving and caring heart so that you may accept people who looks different.

Bolly Wood Veggies Farm is a place where people can relax and have lots of fun.
There are alots of groups from Schools and companies who came and had enjoyed themselves.

A warm friendly touch from these two visitor in Bollywood Veggies Farm. They were so friendly and kind to me. Some people will stare at me as through I am a alien.

Some times I hate the look and comments that they made as they walked pass me.
That makes me wants to educate them more. I wish more and more people will understand the feeling of being different and being mock by some ignorance people.

Oh Siew May Testimony @ Riverlife – 7 August 2010

Day 7th August 2010

I was so nervous when I was sharing on stage. I felt so worried that the youth could not understand me. I was sharing on a topic on " I can do all thing through Christ who strengthen me."

It was really tiring on that day, I was really touched by the youth. They were so full of faith.

I wanted to share that every thing is possible if we set our mind to do so. It is not so much on what God can give us but it is what we can do to glorify Him.
My purpose to share is to create awareness to the youth, and to share with them that nothing in life comes easily. WE need to have a never give up spirit and believe in themselves that if we do our best GOD will do the rest.

I thank all the staffs, pastors and the youth for giving me a chance to be a blessing to others. I wish each and every one that read my book will have the same spirit of mine being strong and have a fighting spirit in life.

Giving back to the school on 11 June 2010

Today I was really happy that I could give back to the Spastic Children' s school. It was only possible with the help of my friends and supporters that bought my books. With their help, I was able to give.

I was so blessed because My boss Mrs Ivy Singh Lim held a small Cheque presentation ceremony for me in Bollywoods Veggies Farm. She is so supportive and kind to me. With her help, I am now able to sell my books at my work place.

My wish for Scaling Walls-my story is to have more and more readers and that my story will create awareness for the disabled. More people will be aware of how the less fortunates feel.

I am looking forwards to my Chinese Version of my story to be out. I hope to reach out more and more people.

Working in Bollywood Veggies farm

A dear friend

I was so surprised that I had found a fan from Switzaland. Mrs Bratice saw my story

http://www.asiaone.com/News/Education/Story/A1Story20090227-125020.html

and called one of her friend in Singapore to help her to find a copy of my book.

Her friend Jeniffer Ho then helped her to called Sakae Sushi, the Japanese restuarnt who were used to carry my books.

They finally found me after a week and Mrs Bratice got to meet me.
She is more than 70 years old and she travelled to Singapore and meet me.
I was so touched by her kind gesture.

We had a great tea time on that day. Now we are keeping in touch by email. Thank you Mrs Bratice for being such a wonderful friend to me.
